Matt is preparing a sushi feast today, and as such, we went shopping. These are some of the that I found on our morning expedition just blocks from our house.
Matt has done it yet again. You wouldn't believe the amount of work that goes into smoking pork for eight hours. Gradually adjusting temperature. Prep the night before, massaging the meat, injecting it with strange juices. Waiting and waiting and waiting, and finally pulling it all apart. He's a hero.
This thing you see before you contains four meats (I think it was something like; turkey, pastrami, corned beef, and roast beef), some magical sauce, and not much else. It left me feeling almost too satisfied midday on a work day. I'd recommend this to anyone that loves a quality meat sandwich, and if you're in the SOMA they even deliver the sandwiches until 2 PM.
